| Happy campers pile into a tent. |
One of the most unique events held each year in Brambleton is the Neighborhood Camp Out. For one night, Legacy is transformed into a campground, allowing residents to experience all the fun of camping in the woods. And with the convenience of being in the community, the option of enjoying the evening festivities before retreating back home is nice. For some, a warm cozy bed is much more desirable than roughing it in the woods. For others, the adventure is too compelling to pass up. Complete with all the traditional camping rituals such as setting up a tent and roasting marshmallows fireside, the camping experience is elevated with the Brambleton Town Center and playground within walking distance. In addition, the fun-filled activities include games in the tennis courts, a family scavenger hunt, rock wall and an evening kid movie. What better way to introduce the great outdoors than trying it at the Neighborhood Camp Out. For the fourth year in a row, this event has been one that residents really look forward to spending with the entire family. In fact, many plan their personal events around the camp out date. Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird, the experience is definitely worth a try and an evening you and your kids will never forget.
Due to heavy rains and wet grounds, the festival has been rescheduled. The new celebration will take place on Saturday, November 5th. An updated brochure will be available soon.
The Bramble10 Bash/Fall Fest this year is centered around celebrating 10 wonderful years as a community. Join us for two days of festivities, with concerts, a comedian, food, beer and wine on Friday, September 23rd, and for rides and amusements, kid’s activities, concerts, demos and more on Saturday September 24th. We will also have radio personality “Carson” from MIX 107.3 at the Brambleton booth helping residents and guests spin the prize wheel from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, September 24th - now proclaimed as “Brambleton Day”.
