The Broadlands Nature Center Welcomes Its Newest Residents
 | | Welcome Khloe and Zoe, the Broadlands Nature Center’s newest residents! |
The Broadlands Nature Center at 21907 Claiborne Parkway in the Broadlands is home to many animals. Sahara, the snake; Swimmy and Franklin, the Red-Eared Slider turtles; Marshmallow the dove; Fireball, the newt plus some tadpoles, a bullfrog, a toad and some fish. Our newest residents are Khloe and Zoe, a pair of Rex rabbits. They are sisters - Khloe is black and white, Zoe is brown and white - and are about two years old. They came to us from the Arlington Animal Rescue. They love to have visitors! Come meet them at the Nature Center Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on some Saturdays. Check our website for more details. http://www.broadlandshoa.org

 | | Daisy Troop 2166 spent their day beautifying Overland Park |
 | | Even our youngest residents can help keep our neighborhood clean |
Scouts who use the Broadlands Community Center free of charge for their meetings and activities all year, say “Thank You” to the Homeowners Association by doing trash pickups at various locations around the neighborhood. Homeowners in Southern Walk also organized a trash pickup day in the common area surrounding their homes. Thanks to the Scouts and our residents for being such good neighbors!

Broadlands Nature Center Hosts Spring Time Fun
 | | Peter Cottontail Finally Arrives |
 | | Dangling for Peeps is Harder Than it Looks! |
The Easter Bunny was recently spotted at the Nature Center when fourteen Broadlands families organized a fun family day for the neighborhood kids. The kids played Pin the Tail on the Bunny, Dangling for Peeps and had an Egg on the Spoon Race. The highlight of the afternoon was the Easter Egg Hunt and the appearance of Mr. Cottontail! A picnic lunch was served on the patio as both the kids and the adults enjoyed the beautiful Spring weather.
