Several Loudoun varsity teams delivered strong performances Friday as Stone Bridge baseball and softball advance in the Northern Region tournament; Loudoun Valley baseball and Woodgrove softball win Dulles tournament titles; Woodgrove girls win a sectional lacrosse championship; Dominion boys secure a state lacrosse tournament bid; and Dominion girls win the Dulles soccer consolation final.

After securing the first AA Dulles District tournament title in Tuscarora High School's short two-year history with a 2-0 win at Briar Woods May 24, the Huskies boys soccer team, held hands at midfield, sprinted as a group and splashed their way in head first slid-and-slide celebration towards the team bench.
