Defense technology company accepted into export trade program
Thu., Feb. 2 | 09:00 AM - Defense Technology Equipment Inc., of Sterling, was one of four Northern Virginia companies recently accepted into the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade program by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. The program, launched in 2002, assists exporters in Virginia “that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy,” according to a release.
Leesburg development center to host seminars

The District of Columbia Unscripted Players (DCUP), an award winning comedy group, will perform a night of improv and sketch comedy featuring "The Simons." Part sketch comedy, part improvisation, this event is performed by three identical ventriloquist dummies. Quoted as "equal parts creepy and hilarious," "The Simons" were awarded the Best Sketch Performance award at the 2007 Miami Improv Festival. This event has a "Star Wars" themed performance along with a special sketch show from popular "Last Ham Standing" regulars Steve Heaton, Jack Reda, Matt Hartman and Corey Finkle. New Patient First center opens in Sterling
