Huskies boys soccer team earn school’s first tourney title

Wolverine boys find their stride, earn state lacrosse bid
Fri., May. 25 | 09:30 AM - A slow start in March doomed the Woodgrove High School boys lacrosse teams hopes of a Dulles District season title, but the Wolverines have dreams of a bigger banner after clinching a VHSL state tournament spot May 24 with a 12-10 win at Briar Woods in the AA Northern Section semifinals.

Fri., May. 25 | 07:38 AM - Briar Woods and Woodgrove will play in Friday's Dulles District softball championship game at top seeded Woodgrove. The same two teams played in last year's district tournament final with Briar Woods winning 4-1.

AA Northern Sectional lacrosse tournament
Fri., May. 25 | 07:05 AM - Woodgrove boys and girls, along with Loudoun County girls punched their ticket for the VHSL state tournament with semifinal victories in the AA Northern Sectional lacrosse semifinals Thursday night. Dominion boys semifinal game at Kettle Run is scheduled to resume Friday evening.

Graham leads Raiders to boys title, Huskies claim girls crown at Dulles track meet
Tue., May. 22 | 04:24 PM - Loudoun County High School junior Steven Graham showed off his immense talent by winning four individual events at the Dulles District Track and Field Championships, May 17 at Tuscarora High School in Leesburg. The Raiders won eight of 16 boys events overall to claim the team title.

Cashman is money again, Falcons outlast Titans in lacrosse final
Fri., May. 18 | 01:28 PM - Briar Woods High School found itself in jeopardy of losing its first game against a district opponent this season May 16. The Falcons trailed Dominion by a goal with less than 30 seconds left in the AA Dulles District boys lacrosse championship game. That is, until the host Falcons got the ball in Connor Cashman’s stick.

Loudoun County boys triumph in Dulles tennis tournament
Tue., May. 15 | 10:49 AM - For the Loudoun County High School boys tennis team, the future looks bright. The Raiders cruised through a 16-0 regular season and then defeated Briar Woods 5-1 on May 11 to win the Dulles District team tournament. Loudoun County is looking to triumph in not only regionals, but also states.
