Fri., May. 25 | 09:30 AM - A slow start in March doomed the Woodgrove High School boys lacrosse teams hopes of a Dulles District season title, but the Wolverines have dreams of a bigger banner after clinching a VHSL state tournament spot May 24 with a 12-10 win at Briar Woods in the AA Northern Section semifinals.

Woodgrove tops Valley to earn return trip to states
Fri., May. 25 | 08:53 AM - Woodgrove High School made up for lost time after a lighting delay forced its AA Northern Sectional Girls Lacrosse semifinal game against Purcellville rival Loudoun Valley to begin about 25 minutes later than the scheduled 8 p.m. start time May 24.

Fri., May. 25 | 07:05 AM - Woodgrove boys and girls, along with Loudoun County girls punched their ticket for the VHSL state tournament with semifinal victories in the AA Northern Sectional lacrosse semifinals Thursday night. Dominion boys semifinal game at Kettle Run is scheduled to resume Friday evening.

Titans sink Vikings in lacrosse playoffs
Tue., May. 22 | 03:41 PM - For the Dominion High School boys lacrosse team, a May 16 loss to Briar Woods in the Dulles District tournament final was devastating. The Titans allowed a tying goal with just 12 seconds remaining and the Falcons netted the game winner in double overtime. But the Titans rebounded in the AA Northern Sectional tournament May 21, defeating fellow Dulles District member Loudoun Valley 13-6 to earn a bid to semifinals.

Cashman is money again, Falcons outlast Titans in lacrosse final
Fri., May. 18 | 01:28 PM - Briar Woods High School found itself in jeopardy of losing its first game against a district opponent this season May 16. The Falcons trailed Dominion by a goal with less than 30 seconds left in the AA Dulles District boys lacrosse championship game.
That is, until the host Falcons got the ball in Connor Cashman’s stick.

Thu., May. 17 | 12:29 PM - Woodgrove High School completed the Dulles Double of winning the district's season and tournament titles May 16 with a 17-10victory against Loudoun County in the tournament final at home in Purcellville.

Strong second half propels Foxcroft to state lacrosse victory
Wed., May. 16 | 12:50 PM - Junior Olivia Jane Johnson and freshman Emma Rogers each scored three goals and host Foxcroft came alive with nine goals in the second half to defeat Fredericksburg Academy, 11-8, in the first round of the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association Division II Girls Lacrosse Tournament, May 15 in Middleburg.
