Wed., May. 23 | 02:14 PM - After spending the last four seasons in the Stone Bridge High School girls basketball program in different capacities, Dana Robinson has been promoted to head varsity girls basketball coach. Robinson has served as freshmen, junior varsity and assistant varsity coach with the Bulldogs.

Wed., May. 23 | 07:41 AM - Stone Bridge High School junior shortstop Nicole Prince has been selected as the Player of the Year on the 2012 All-Liberty District softball team. Billy Rice earned Coach of the Year honors after guiding the Bulldogs to the top of the Liberty standings.

Bulldog freshman Bukauskas named Liberty’s Pitcher of the Year

Wed., May. 23 | 07:20 AM - Stone Bridge High School freshman JB Bukauskas has been voted as the Pitcher of the Year on the 2012 All-Liberty District baseball team. Bukauskas is one of nine Bulldogs selected on the team after Stone Bridge placed first in the Liberty District standings this spring.

Wed., May. 23 | 05:15 AM - Stone Bridge High School junior forwards Ashley Herndon and Murielle Tiernan are Co-Players of the Year on the 2012 All-Liberty District girls soccer team. Herndon and Tiernan helped lead the Bulldogs to a first-place finish in the Liberty's season standings.

The host Seahawks won boys and girls team titles in dominant fashion.

Stone Bridge pair to play college volleyball

Thu., May. 17 | 05:03 PM - Stone Bridge High School held a ceremony to honor two student-athletes who will continue their volleyball careers in college May 1 in the school library. Alex Heyn will play at Ohio State, and Rachel Auerbach is headed to SUNY Potsdam.

Briar Woods wins Battle of Ashburn softball tourney

Tue., May. 1 | 10:02 AM - The defending Group AA state champion Briar Woods Falcons defeated Stone Bridge, 7-3, and Broad Run, 8-3, to win the Honda of Dulles Battle of Ashburn softball tournament April 28. The Falcons collected 26 hits to win the first annual tournament as the host school.
