Freedom leads pack at Wrestle for the Cure event

Dozens of wrestlers suited up with pink shirts, socks and shoelaces for the first Battle of Ashburn charity event, held Jan. 25 at Broad Run High School. Freedom High School pinned down three victories in the round-robin style event, and proceeds benefitted the Chris Cooley Foundation.

Loudoun County’s Future Leaders Look Ahead

High school seniors who were named Future Leaders by the Loudoun Times-Mirror at the annual Loudoun School-Business Partnership Recognition Breakfast were honored and presented with $1,500 scholarships. Diana Gretzkowski, from Potomac Falls High School, was awarded a $3,000 scholarship.
